Felicity is an English actress that gained notoriety for her role as Jane Hawking, the protagonist in The Theory of Everything. Jones started acting at the age of 12 and has worked in multiple movies and television shows. Her first role was in the television film The Treasure Seekers. She then played the role of Ethel Hallow another television show named The Worst Witch and its sequel Weirdsister College. She played Young Ruth in her first movie Flashbacks of a Fool and followed by starring in numerous films. Her acting gained her fame for roles in movies like The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. It was, however, her portrayal on The Theory of Everything that brought her an Oscar for the first time. Jones her portrayal of Stephen Hawking's spouse in the biopic that was based upon the life of Stephen Hawking, was widely acclaimed by both critics and viewers. Inferno, which was a Tom Hanks thriller was her next film. It was the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles awarded Jones as the British Artist of the Year in 2016 for her remarkable talent and contribution to cinema.
