Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme in France, was born on the 9th of August in 1976. Audrey was the eldest child of four. Her parents, who have a doctor for teeth and teacher in a school were supportive and encouraged by her passion for acting and theater. She initially hoped of becoming a specialist in monkeys was eclipsed by her wish to study theater and drama. Her fame grew as an actress in her early years and enjoyed huge popularity and success. Before she began to pursue an acting career Tautou participated in Jeunes Premiers a French show on TV that focuses on talent which was a part of Canal+ in 1998. Also, she was awarded the Best Young Actress for during the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. Tautou went to church and Institut Catholique de Paris during her childhood, but she is now separating herself from her childhood. Apart from her acting work, she is also pursuing modelling. She was the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and has been referred as "The Chanel Muse". Recently, at Arles Arts Festival, Arles Arts Festival, she displayed the collection of her photographs with the title Superficial. Her photography largely focuses on celebrity and fame, and turns the camera on the media who sat on her shoulders when she exploded to fame with Amelie and several self-portraits. Audrey Tautou's very first major part, playing Amelie Poulain's main actress in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie poulain, earned her fame to the world. Amelie received international acclai the box office and received acclaim at awards ceremonies across the globe. It's the highest-grossing French film to be released in the United States. The success of this movie has led to Tautou being cast in a range of roles, ranging from British dramas such as Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
